About us

Our Story

Audubon Park Church is a safe space for spiritual growth, personal growth, and healing, as well as a healthy place for connecting with God and community. Built in 1954, our church home was the first building ever built in Audubon Park. We are a 501c3 faith-based non-profit and are located in the Heart of Audubon Park at 3219 Chelsea, St, Orlando, FL 32803.

We exist to be a safe community where everyone experiences the love of Jesus and grows into the Creator's purpose for their lives.

We grow through:
  • God’s grace, love, and our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Meeting the needs of our own and of others
  • Healing ourselves, our relationships, and helping our communities
  • Caring for the Earth and for all of God’s Creation
  • Being a safe place to worship and pray
  • Welcoming new faces from different places
  • Being grounded in generosity, love, and our welcoming environment

Make an appointment (virtual, phone or in person) with Pastor Sarah
Born in Indiana and from a Lutheran background, Pastor Sarah loves living in the eclectic Audubon Park neighborhood, where she bikes all over and has an edible and pollinator garden covering her entire front yard! Having served God all over the world, Pastor Sarah loves traveling and is a foodie who finds great joy in connecting with people and with their arts and cultures. Prior to joining the Audubon Park Church community, Pastor Sarah was Associate Pastor at the Community Covenant Church in Clear Lake, WA.
She graduated from Valparaiso University in 2002 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education, and in 2010, she earned her Masters of Divinity from North Park Seminary. Ordained in the summer of 2013 in Detroit, MI, Pastor Sarah was officially installed as pastor of our church December 8, 2013. She is vibrant, energetic, and loves her calling as Pastor of APC and as a community leader. If you see her riding her bike in the neighborhood with her pup, Chica, in the front basket, say "Hello!" She'd love to say "Hello!" to you, too!

Our Church's Commitment to
Community & Creation Care

Here at Audubon Park Church we authentically practice what we authentically preach! We believe in Community and Creation Care, so we open our hall to host local groups and their eco-events that engage us and reconnect us with our community, the Earth, and with eco-friendly groups in Orlando.
